Most pyramidal, compact U. americana. Hardy, fast-growing Manitoba elm. Large, coarse, toothed foliage turns golden-yellow in fall. Very tolerant of pollution, salt and drought once established in a moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates Black Knott. Prune ONLY October to March as needed.
