Extremely hardy shrub. Soft pink blooms appear along branches before foliage in spring, followed by small, edible, sweet-tart, red cherries in late summer. Self-fertile. Small, toothed, fuzzy green foliage turns bright yellow in fall. Prefers well-drained soil.
